Our professional, award-winning wrap is a unique holistic health treatment that boasts numerous benefits for the body including cleansing the lymphatic system, smoothing cellulite, contouring & shaping the body, lifting & tightening skin, and trimming excess inches while promoting the overall health of the body. Below is a list of contraindications, pre- and post-treatment reminders, and a list of recommended guidelines to follow when receiving a Lymphatic Cleansing Contour Wrap.

FREQUENCY

  • We recommend receiving regular Lymphatic Cleansing Contour Wraps as part of your monthly preventative health maintenance regimen.
  • It is safe to receive Lymphatic Cleansing Contour Wrap as often as every 4-7 days, if desired or needed for a specific purpose. We offer both standalone wrap and wrap series options.
  • If you are actively working to lose weight or effect change in your body and/or appearance, we recommend completing a 4-6 wrap series, or receiving a professional wrap for every 5-10 pounds of weight lost in order to help maintain skin tightness and to help prevent skin sagging.
  • Our professional wraps are also incorporated into our holistic health programs for their incredible results and multiple benefits for body and health.
  • Professional wrap services can be perfectly incorporated into your regular maintenance regimen through our SPA 360 Subscription Program.

ABSOLUTE CONTRAINDICATIONS (These health conditions will prevent treatment.)

  • Use of Coumadin or other blood thinners
  • Epilepsy
  • Cancer that has not been in remission for at least two years
  • Pregnant or nursing

1 WEEK PRIOR

  • DO drink a minimum of at least half your body weight in ounces of water each day at least one week prior to receiving your first body wrap (and preferably every day as a health-promoting practice).
  • DO consider completing a 7-day internal cleanse program to enhance cellulite reduction and inch loss. (Ask for more information.)
  • DO take Cell-U-Rid for at least one week prior to your first wrap and throughout your wrap series.
  • IMPORTANT! Our contour cream contains niacin. It is important to decrease your niacin levels prior to receiving wrap services in order to avoid a niacin retention reaction. This is temporary and rare, but if a reaction occurs, it will most likely show up as hives on your body. Please avoid niacin supplements (aka: nicotinic acid, nicotinamide, niacinamide), tanning creams, energy drinks, and any other niacin-containing products for at least two days prior to your wrap appointment.

2 DAYS PRIOR

  • If you are concerned that you may have a niacin sensitivity, please request a patch test 2 days prior to your service. We will test you with both our regular and sensitive formulas to ensure a great outcome on the day of your wrap.

DAY OF SERVICE

  • DO NOT drink any liquids for 2 hours prior to your appointment to ensure you will not need to use the rest room during your treatment.
  • DO NOT use any lotions or creams on your skin the day of your wrap.
  • DO NOT shave the day of your wrap.
  • DO NOT shower for 6-8 hours after your service.
  • DO NOT apply any additional heat sources prior to, during, or immediately after your wrap. This includes raising your body temperature by exercise, sauna, or other means of heating the body internally.
  • NOTE: During treatment, your skin will most likely appear pink or red and will feel warm and tingly. This is normal. This is the skin’s natural response to niacin and is a sign of increased circulation. If a reaction such as a rash or hives occurs during or after your treatment, you may be experiencing a buildup of niacin from other niacin-containing products. If this happens, we recommend completing an internal cleanse prior to receiving another wrap. If a more intense or unusual reaction occurs, please contact SIMPLY DAWN.

POST-TREATMENT REMINDERS

  • After your service has been completed, DO drink at least half your daily allotment of water before drinking anything else.
  • DO perform enzymatic exfoliation at home 3x per week using BUFF Body Exfoliator.
  • DO use MAINTAIN Anti-Cellulite Cream each day after showering to enhance your results. This product contains a milder formulation of our professional contour cream.
  • DO ensure that you practice a healthy lifestyle of exercise and proper diet to maintain the inches lost.
  • AVOID consuming processed foods, caffeine, carbonated drinks, refined sugar, white flour, etc.

CONSENT

I acknowledge that all wrap reminders and pre- and post-treatment guidelines have been explained to me in full. If something was unclear to me, I have consulted with my practitioner, and my questions have been answered. I understand the DO’s and DON’T’s for receiving a Lymphatic Cleansing Contour Wrap, and I have followed all pre-treatment guidelines. I understand that though rare, I may experience a reaction to one or more of the ingredients in the contour cream which may result in a temporary hive-type rash. I understand that a patch test is available to me two days prior to receiving treatment, even if I choose not to receive one. If I am under a doctor’s care for any medical condition, I understand that I should consult with my doctor prior to receiving treatment. If I choose to receive a wrap without my doctor’s approval, I am assuming full responsibility and hereby and forever release SIMPLY DAWN [ Aesthetics | Wellness ] from any and all liability. I understand that 1) before and after photos may be taken to document treatment results and/or processes, 2) these photos may be used by SIMPLY DAWN for business and/or marketing purposes, and 3) I may request to have my identity masked prior to posting publicly. I give my consent to receive treatment. I am either of lawful age and I am signing for myself, or I am a legal parent/guardian and I give my consent for my minor to receive treatment.
